Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend! My mom came up on Friday to play and we went to Stride Rite to get Cole's first pair of shoes. I've tried to put shoes on him before and he was not too happy, so I was a little worried that he was not going to like his first shoe experience. Thank goodness my mom was there! Cole screamed the whole time that the salesperson was trying on the shoes. When she went to get another size, he was happy and then as soon as he saw her returning, he started screaming again! It was so sad and hilarious at the same time. We finally found him a great pair of white shoes that will be perfect for daycare and playtime. He is a size 4 Wide! What a big boy. We are trying to ease him into getting used to wearing shoes, hopefully he will start to like them soon.

Cole is pulling up on his knees on everything and sometimes pulls all the way up to his feet. He smiles and thinks he is such a big boy when he is standing up.

It was such a pretty Easter Sunday! After church, we took a nap and then headed to the lake for a sunny afternoon. We had a great time with family and friends. Our cute Easter bunny! Happy Cole

This is what our den currently looks like. We have the fence to keep Cole safe from the fireplace and TV equipment. Trey feels like he is living in a kennel! We won't be winning any decorators awards any time soon, but we love it because Cole has plenty of room to play (and Sawyer likes the extra room too!)
