The Bridges Family: Fun at the Beach

We had a great time at Amelia Island, FL this past week with tons of family - 14 to be exact! Cole and I flew from Nashville to Jacksonville with my dad, Susie, Charlie, Courtney, and Anna Claire. Both kiddos were great in the airport and on the plane, and you can't beat a 1.5 hour flight to the beach. The five cousins - Charlotte Ann, Eli, Grace, Cole, and Anna Claire - loved playing on the beach, even though with 5 kids it was tough to get everyone in the same place at the same time. Cole did not like the beach last year but this year he was jumping in the waves, swimming in the ocean, digging in the sand, and collecting bucketfuls of shells. We had great weather and ate lots of great seafood. I loved spending so much quality time with my family.

On Tuesday night, we all got dressed up and went to a banquet where my dad was introduced as the President of TSCPA for this year. So proud! We were worried how the kids would behave but they had a ball! There was a band and all 5 kids took over the dance floor and loved dancing together. It was a great night.
